FAQ

Frequently asked questions about BlockSprint.

General

What is BlockSprint?

BlockSprint is transaction sending infrastructure for Solana. We route your transactions through dedicated low-latency connections and multiple block builders to maximize landing speed and success rate.

How is BlockSprint different from other providers?
  • Purpose-built pipeline — engineered from scratch to land faster
  • 6 global locations — Frankfurt, Amsterdam, New York, and more
  • Multi-provider routing — Jito and our own sending network
  • Validator partnerships — Direct connections across multiple validators
Do you simulate transactions?

No. BlockSprint does not simulate transactions before sending. This reduces latency. If you want a simulation, run it on your own Solana RPC before sending.

Do you support Transaction V1?

Yes. BlockSprint accepts legacy, v0 and Transaction V1 transactions. V1 transactions can be up to 4,096 bytes.

Tipping

Why do I need to tip?

Tips pay for fast transaction delivery through BlockSprint. Without a tip, your transaction will be rejected.

What's the minimum tip?

0.001 SOL (1,000,000 lamports) per transaction.

Where do I find tip addresses?

Get them from your dashboard: blocksprint.io/dashboard/tip-wallets

Should I use a different tip address each time?

Yes. Rotating addresses avoids write lock contention and improves landing rates.

Does a higher tip guarantee faster landing?

No tip guarantees landing. Combine your tip with a competitive priority fee, which sets your position within the block. Network conditions still affect actual confirmation time.

Rate Limits

What's the rate limit?

50 transactions per second per API key.

Can I get higher limits?

Yes. Contact us on Discord or email support@blocksprint.io for custom rate limits.

What happens if I exceed the limit?

Stay within your rate limit. If you need more throughput, contact us and we'll raise it.

Transactions

Do I need to retry transactions myself?

Yes. Rebroadcast the same signed transaction every ~2 seconds until it confirms or its blockhash expires. Set maxRetries: 0 to avoid redundant retries.

What's the recommended configuration?
javascript
{
  skipPreflight: true,
  maxRetries: 0
}
Why skipPreflight?

Preflight simulation adds latency. Skipping it gets your transaction to validators faster.

How long until my transaction expires?

Solana blockhashes expire after ~60-90 seconds. Keep rebroadcasting until your transaction confirms or the blockhash expires.

MEV Protection

What is MEV protection?

MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) protection routes your transaction only through trusted validators who commit not to front-run or sandwich your trades.

How do I enable it?

Add ?mevProtect=true to your endpoint URL or include mevProtect: true in your request options.

Does MEV protection affect landing rate?

Slightly. The validator pool is smaller, which may reduce landing rate marginally. Use it for sensitive trades where front-running matters.

When should I use MEV protection?
  • Large DEX swaps
  • Arbitrage opportunities
  • Liquidations
  • Any trade where slippage from front-running hurts
When should I skip MEV protection?
  • Simple SOL transfers
  • Non-financial transactions
  • When speed is more critical than protection

Bundles

What is a bundle?

A bundle is 1-4 transactions that execute atomically — all succeed together or all fail together.

Do I need to include a tip for bundles?

Yes. At least one transaction in the bundle must include a tip of at least 0.001 SOL to a BlockSprint tip address. BlockSprint handles the tip to block builders.

What's the max bundle size?

4 transactions per bundle.

Endpoints

Which endpoint should I use?

Use the one closest to your server. See Endpoints.

Troubleshooting

"Missing tip instruction" error

Your transaction doesn't include a tip. Add a SOL transfer to a BlockSprint tip address (minimum 0.001 SOL).

"Invalid API key" error

Check that your API key is correct and hasn't been revoked. Get your key from the dashboard.

Transaction not landing
  1. Check your tip — Make sure the transaction tips at least 0.001 SOL to a BlockSprint tip address.
  2. Increase priority fee — Bump the priority fee to make your transaction more attractive to validators.
  3. Check blockhash is fresh — Ensure the transaction uses a recent blockhash (Solana blockhashes expire after ~60-90 seconds).
  4. Verify transaction simulates successfully — Simulate it on your own RPC to confirm it succeeds.

Still not landing? Contact support with the transaction signature.
